Raindrop Painting (Art)
Preschool to Kindergarten
Pour some tempera school paint in small cups, and mix it with water to about 50% of it’s usual consistency.  Provide the kids with construction paper and eye droppers.  Have them use the eye droppers to splatter one drop of paint at a time on the paper, like a falling raindrop.

What I Like About Spring (Writing/Group)

All Ages

Have kids write a short essay or a bullet point list describing all the different things they like about spring. With younger age groups turn this into a group time activity and have them tell you their answers instead while you write them on the board.

Spring Mural (Art)

All Ages

Lay a large sheet of butcher paper across one or two of your tables, and label the top with the words “spring is here!” or simply “springtime!” Set out crayons and markers, and have all the children doodle little pictures and decorate the mural with spring-related artwork.
