Masterpiece Recreation (Art / Motor Skills)

Print out black and white pictures of famous paintings by VanGogh or Leonardo daVinci. (Simply search for pictures online and set your printer settings to black and white or grayscale.) Provide your kids with colored crayons or markers and let them add their own unique interpretive touch to these masterpieces! Or consider laminating the pages and storing them with a set of dry erase markers for a quick and easy reusable activity.

Marble Painting (Art, Motor Skills)
Kids all Ages
Pour some colored tempera school paint into bowls at your art table, and add a marble or two to each color paint.  Place a piece of construction paper for each child inside a baking tray or small box. Have the kids place the marble inside, and tilt the tray around so that the marble leaves streaks of paint as it rolls across the paper.

Note:  Marbles can be a choking hazard, so keep a close eye on the kids.
