Thankful Lists (Language/Writing/Group)
All Ages
Have kids write out a list of all the things they’re thankful for, and then share some of the things on the list with the class. With younger age groups you can turn this into a group time activity and have them share their gratitudes with the class.

Crouton Counting (Math/Fine Motor)
Preschool to Grade 1
Get a box or two of cubed croutons and have kids use them as a counting tool to work on math skills, or stack them into geometric shapes.

Fun With Turkey Basters (Sensory)
Preschool & Kindergarten
Gather several turkey basters and fill your sensory table with water. Add some empty soda bottles, measuring cups or other containers. Have kids play with the turkey basters by squeezing up the water and squirting it into the various containers.

Hot Potato Game (Large Motor)
All Ages
Wrap a raw potato in aluminum foil and play the classic game ‘hot potato.’ Have kids sit down in a circle facing one another and pass the potato back and forth while trying not to hold onto it for long.
