Paper Plate Faces (art)
For this activity you’ll need yarn, glue, scissors, markers, and at least 1 non-laminated paper plate for each child in your class. Have kids color a face on their paper plate, then cut the yarn and glue it around the top for hair. They can also use the scissors to trim around the edges of the paper plate to make ears or give their character a unique chin. If you’d like, add some styrofoam pieces and dull steak knives, and let them carve a nose for their project person.
